Dear Ken, It's been a month now since you set me up with a electric bike, the Hebb Electroglide 500. I just wanted to thank you for your all your advice and tell you how much I appreciate the time you took to answer all my questions. The Hebb has been everything you made it out to be and more. The quality is top notch, the build job was very professional. Whats surprised me the most was how much I've been using it and how much fun it is. I'm using less gas in my car and finding myself making excuses to run errands so I can take the Hebb out for a ride. Don't get me wrong. You know I'm an avid cyclist and I'm still getting plenty of exercise. But when I'm not in the mood to huff, puff and sweat it's such a blast to have the wind in my face. (while leaving my car in the garage) In closing I want to say that when I ride my Hebb I'm not thinking of the "miles per gallon" I'd be getting in my car (or there cost) but the "smiles per mile" as I silently go wizzing along.

Ken, I’ve been enjoying riding to work a couple of days a week on the HEBB electric bike. I’m lucky to have 7 miles of Ocean side paths, which I could not use a scooter on. My total commute is 25 miles round trip, from Sunny lsles Beach to South Beach.. I have been charging the battery at work as well as home. This keeps the battery in the green, best for longevity. I also still get a decent workout by pedaling a good bit. The 12+ mile ride takes me 45 minutes on the HEBB, which takes 30 minuters in the car -- but is not nearly as pleasurable. On a regular bike, the ride was taking  about an hour, but I have not been riding my regular bike to work at all in the hot and muggy Florida summers. On the HEBB I can go faster with less effort. This makes it do-able. I plan to ride more regularly in our dry season. Part of my ride to work is on sandy trails which the two wheel drive really helps. The bike just flies though the soft areas. The tires are wide enough for off-road riding, yet narrow and smooth enough that it pedals well on pavement. I often go pedal-only when there are other bikes or pedestrians on the paths. I easily keep up with other bikes pedaling at 15mph + with ease. I like using the throttle to get up to speed. Most of my ride, however, I use the motor and pedal to go 20+mph with ease. The Hebb Bike is definitely fun and practical.

Rode it to three business appointments tuesday.....about 35 miles total. Charged it at lunch as the battery comes out so easily. While pulling up to restaurant, a man asked me about the bike.. he has an autistic son who can ride without a problem but will never drive a car.
